Here is what clients are saying about Seth and his services!
My 10 year old son was really struggling with the mental side of baseball. He would consistently perform to his ability in practice but really struggled coping with game pressure. This got to the point that he wanted to quit playing. So we contacted Seth and he came over to the house. He spent some time teaching our son some easy mental skills to cope with the pressure and have a better attitude.
The second half of the season he was a different kid! Last night his 10U All Star team won the State Championship. He was a big part of the team and played some unbelievable games. He moved from the number 6 batter to a solid number 2 he also pitched his first shut out. You could see him using some of the things/skills Seth taught him to be able to relax throughout the games and deal with the pressure. We will be calling for a refresher course next season! I have included some of his batting numbers for the State Tournament below. Not bad for a kid that wanted to quit.
At Bats | 16 |
Runs | 13 |
Hits | 11 |
Doubles | 3 |
Triples | 2 |
Home Runs | 0 |
RBIs | 9 |
Base On Balls | 2 |

Thanks for the help Seth!

Update on Jared and his recent success in 2013. Congrats Jared! (For article click here)
Seth I have recently been named to the United States Alpine Ski Team. There have been many people over the last decade or so, who have helped me to success. I believe the skills you taught me were very beneficial, and helped me reach one of my sought out life goals.
For example, last season started off slow with a series of misfortunes. I was a complete wreck mentally, having enormous doubt, and was always thinking about throwing in the towel. After a few sessions together, I started to make competition feel as if it were another day of practice. A week later I got a result that qualified me for World Juniors inChamonix, France. I remember that was the most calm I had ever felt in a competition, and I did what I was there to do, ski fast.
The most beneficial part of each session is how one on one it is. There are no other distractions and I can let it all out, so we could find what I needed to do and what worked. When I contacted you, you didn’t really know much about ski racing, but you did research and adapted which is awesome! Also, you helped me be more positive and appreciate that no matter what happens I’m doing something cool that so many would love to be doing. I appreciate your guidance, thank you and hope to work with you again this upcoming season.
All The Best,
Jared Goldberg / US Ski Team

Daybreak Elementary students and teachers loved last years Red Ribbon assembly provided by Seth Quealy so much that we asked him back again for 2011! He used humor to drive home a serious message, each person must make a conscience choice to “say no” to drug use to keep all positive life options open. Using teachers to role-play how to refuse trying drugs was entertaining and educational for students. Seth kept the students’ attention beautifully through his quick pacing, witty sayings and interactive questioning. His presentation was a lively opening to our drug-free week; the students will long remember what they learned today!!

Seth, thanks so much for your time over the past 3 years working with the American Fork High School soccer girls. As a coach, I believe mental awareness is huge in life and especially in sports. If you can get a group of girls to become mentally tough then the possibilities are endless. I was grateful you could meet with them four days in a row. There was a visible improvement in their play each day and I know it was in direct correlation with your training.
Once they became aware of their attitudes and what they could control I could see light bulbs flashing and success happening. You have a great ability to teach the principles in a way that is meaningful to those who will listen. I know my girls found great worth in the things that were taught, and as a team and program we look forward to future opportunities to work with you!
Thanks again for your help – I look forward to implementing and following through with what you started.

Seth worked with our team this season with his mental edge awareness techniques and it has been incredible! Our members have not only used a lot of the techniques he taught us but our coaches have been using them in their instruction as well. We have almost 30 riders qualified for Nationals this year! Seth has a unique ability to breakdown his teachings into a practical and simplistic way that relates to a lot of our younger members. We look forward to working with Seth here in the future as what he teaches is a very important part to becoming a successful athlete and he teaches it very well!
Thanks so much for all your help this season Seth!

Seth, working with you has truly been a blessing! Your positive output on life and the tools you have taught me over the months have helped me immensely in obtaining my goals as an elite athlete. I remember coming to see you when I was in a huge slump. We talked for a while, and even though you didn’t know much about ski racing at first, you quickly familiarized yourself with the sport. Your out-of-the-box mental techniques worked so well it felt as if I was almost cheating! You taught me all about the power of routines, positive thinking, visualization, centering, relaxation and motivation. Working with you gave me confidence as an athlete I never thought I would have.
But what really sets you apart from others in your field is that you actually care about the people you help. During my races you would always be texting or calling me, giving me advice and motivating me to be the best I could be. So I just want to thank you for all your help and for being such a great supporter!

Seth was one of our breakout session speakers at the 2010 Special Olympics Utah Leadership Conference. I was able to attend one of his sessions….WOW! We were so impressed in fact, we’ve already booked Seth to be our keynote speaker for the 2011 leadership conference. I can tell you that it doesn’t matter if a person is an Olympic, Amateur or Recreational athlete, his insight will benefit everyone! The coaches all received excellent information on how to encourage the Special Olympics Athletes to be & do their best!

Seth did a great job in the assembly for the entire student body of engaging the students and helping them understand what they could become by using the tools they were given. He had a good mix of inspirational stories, multimedia and humor to draw the students in and help them to Dream Big. The Athlete Dinner was a huge success as well! I have adopted some of his relaxation techniques to use before a big meet. Our girls and boys teams showed improvement in mental toughness and heart by the very next week. I will definitely keep using his methods in the foreseeable future.”

“Understanding how to control your thoughts and your emotions on the playing field is so important! Failure to do so has destroyed a lot of very good athletes. Seth has a special ability to communicate to athletes and teach them in a way that they can take what they have learned and apply it immediately. Any athlete wanting to get the best out of their abilities would be wise to spend time with Seth.”

Seth was referred to me through a very respected cycling trainer. He was hired to work with my son who is an elite alpine ski racer. Since working with Seth he qualified as one of seven racers to the 2010 World Juniors Championships in France. Seth was able to help him breakdown his goals and desires and turn it into winning and placing at a higher level in competition. Thanks Seth we look forward to working with you in the near future!

“We hired Seth for our 12yr old boys soccer team, not only for Seth’s background in soccer but his ability to relate to people. His approach helped them with everything from skills enhancement to utilizing more creative thinking and pathways and how to apply on the soccer field. In two seasons our team went from last place to the division champions. I know that a major part of this success was due to Seth’s approach to dealing with the mental side of sports and life. His style is very effective and proven and I would recommend his approach at any time to help any team or individual dealing with sports or just life in general. Great working with you Seth, Keep up the good work!”

I had wrestled a good season. My wrestling record was the best it had ever been, I was prepared physically for my last tournament, and I felt fairly sure mentally. However, as the big day drew near I became less and less sure of how I would do until I was on the threshold of having a mental meltdown. My mom had been a friend of Seth’s; she told me of his sports psychology coaching and asked me to give him a call.
One evening when I got the chance I sat down for a phone call. I talked to Seth about all my doubts and fears and he re-assured me. He also gave me ways to deal with my anxiety and to prepare for my upcoming tournament. By the end of the conversation, I was left with the idea that I had prepared my best and that all I had to do was my best and I would succeed. I left the conversation re-assured and ready to do my best.
I had a good tournament and Saturday evening I was in the finals, a few hours before I was feeling nervous. However I got a message from my Grandpa to trust in my preparation and it reminded me of all that Seth had taught me, I knew that I could win that match. I wrestled an opponent who had beaten me earlier in the year by one point. The finals came and I won 10 to 0. The mental preparation that Seth taught gave me the confidence and will to win that match. Thanks to him and all my other coach’s and supporters I achieved my dream and became a State Champion!

During our championship run this past season, we had the privilege of having Seth Quealy work with our team. Seth spent an hour or so with our girls on a couple of occasions and expressed to them the importance of the mental side of competitive greatness. He reinforced many of the concepts that so many coaches preach, but it really had an impact coming from a professional perspective. Seth reminded our girls that they had greatness within them and gave them some practical tools to help get the most out of themselves when their best was needed. Our girls responded with incredible performances and really enjoyed the experience. I believe Seth’s sessions gave our team that little extra we needed to accomplish our ultimate goals and become champions. He is a valuable resource that we will certainly tap into again in the future.

“Having performed for the top companies and thousands of people the world over I have found Seth to be one of my greatest Secret Weapons for staying at the top of my game. At one point I had major performance anxiety, I was going to be performing for the top 2000 entertainers and Speakers in my industry and I was all over the place. Seth’s advice and coaching helped me blast through all of my fears and establish a routine and mental game that led to what I would say was my best performance ever. During that short 12 minute performance I was met with 3 standing ovations, a first for me! I highly recommend Seth to anyone seeking the discovery of their greatest potential!”

“I have had the privilege to get to know Seth on both a personal and a business level. He exemplifies enthusiasm and a vested interest in the individuals with whom he associates. This was particularly evident in my sports training camps held at a local high school in Salt Lake City where Seth worked with the athletes on the mental side of training and playing. As a former professional athlete, I know first hand how the psychological aspect can mean the difference between success and failure, wins and losses, and even health and physical injury. The service employed by Seth will always be a great advantage for teams and athletes who go beyond strengthening the body by enhancing the mind.”

Seth, thank you so much for helping out our AFHS Volleyball team! Your direction to our mental game gave us the much-needed insight to focus on what is at hand and not what just happened or what could happen. We as coaches appreciate your help and your continual support of our program. When you spoke with our team it helped us to realize that the mental game is something we have to practice just as much as the physical game, it gave us great insight as coaches. I was really impressed when you came to our match and then gave us feedback as to what you saw; your insight was valuable to me as a coach. I really appreciated the feedback and direction to helping each of my players, as well as me as a coach. This was a great experience and we continue to use what you have taught us. You are a great resource and a valuable asset to our program. I plan to use your talents again throughout my coaching and teaching career.
